Position Purpose
The Packing Assistant supports the Wholesale and Warehouse teams by ensuring customer, wholesale and retail orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately, safely and on time.
This role contributes to the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse while maintaining the high quality and presentation standards expected of Dinosaur Designs.
Must be able to work 4-days a week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, with possibility of Friday's as extra shift. 8am - 4pm
Key Responsibilities
Pick, pack and prepare wholesale, retail and online orders for dispatch.
Ensure all products are accurately checked prior to dispatch.
Package products carefully to maintain presentation and minimise damage during transit.
Label shipments in accordance with company procedures.
Assist with dispatch documentation and courier bookings.
Warehouse Operations
Assist with receiving and processing incoming deliveries.
Participate in stocktakes and inventory counts.
Maintain warehouse organisation and cleanliness.
Report stock discrepancies or damaged stock promptly.




Administration
Maintain inventory records.
Respond to courier enquiries.
Assist with general warehouse administration.
Teamwork
Work collaboratively with Warehouse, Wholesale, Online, Marketing, Production and Retail teams.
Participate in team meetings and training.
Safety
Follow all Workplace Health and Safety procedures.
Use protected manual handling techniques.
Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
Skills & Experience

Previous warehouse or dispatch experience preferred but not essential
Physical Requirements
This role involves regular standing, walking, bending and manual handling.
Employees are expected to safely lift, carry and move stock using approved manual handling techniques and seek assistance where appropriate.
