We're excited to welcome an Assistant Director of Nursing Adult Mental Health Inpatient Improvement to our Inpatient and Rehabilitation Mental Health portfolio.
The Assistant Director of Nursing Adult Mental Health Inpatient Improvement will function as a member of the Mental Health and Specialised Services Leadership team.
The role will explore, recommend, develop, implement and evaluate dynamic strategies and processes to revitalise and strengthen performance, culture, contemporary service delivery and clinical care consistent with the responsibilities of the role.
As a senior member of the Mental Health and Specialised Services (MHSS) Leadership team, the Assistant Director of Nursing Adult Mental Health Inpatient Improvement is responsible and accountable for the provision of effective leadership, high level operational advice and clinical expertise to ensure the planning, delivery and evaluation of high quality and cost-effective services that are consistent with the strategic and operational directions of MHSS.

Key Responsibilities include:
Lead and review quality improvement activities which contribute to safe and effective adult mental health inpatient clinical pathways.




Lead and review quality improvement activities which contribute to least restrictive adult mental health inpatient clinical pathways.
Manage the day-to-day operations of mental health patient flow from multiple referral sources through to the inpatient care episode and transition out of the adult mental health inpatient episode.
Develop a project plan to ensure that adult mental health inpatient service offerings align with State-wide models and best practice, including the planning, admission and return of classified consumers.
Remuneration value up to $******* p.a., comprising salary between $******* - $******* p.a., employer contribution to superannuation ******%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NRG10) (Fixed Term Temporary Full-time position available for 12 months). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
