We're currently recruiting for:
Maitland
Supporting our community care team across planned and unplanned leave. While casual, demand across the service is consistently high, creating regular weekday opportunities, with most shifts worked between 7:00am and 5:00pm.
Singleton / Muswellbrook
Predominantly supporting clients through ADSSI's Out of Hospital Care Program, helping older people transition safely home following a hospital stay. Monday to Friday, daytime hours.
What does the role involve?
Personal care and daily living assistance
Domestic assistance
Meal preparation
Shopping and community access
Transport to appointments
Social support and companionship
Medication assistance (training provided where required)
Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting changes
Supporting clients to remain independent in their own homes
About you

Wants to build meaningful relationships with clients
Essential Requirements
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Disability) or equivalent
Current NSW Driver Licence
Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance and safe driving record
Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain before commencing)
A current, or willingness to obtain: National Criminal History Check, WWCC, NDIS Worker Check
ADSSI strongly encourages all employees to stay current with COVID-19 vaccinations as recommended by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI), the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care, or NSW Health.
Evidence of protection against Diphtheria, Measles, Hepatitis B, Pertussis, Mumps, Varicella, Tetanus, Rubella, (Influenza is highly recommended)
As part of the application process, you will be required to undergo comprehensivepre-employment screening check.
