Forming part of the Operational Leadership Team (OLT) and Reporting to the Head of Operations, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Project Manager - Rail to join Brimble Group. This is a full-time position based in Beresfield, NSW.
As Project Manager - Rail, you will be delivering strategic oversight and tactical management of all rail construction, rail logistics and rail resurfacing projects. This role has significant impact on project delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and the successful execution of Brimble Group's rail infrastructure initiatives. You will be accountable for leadership of your team, being the client lead, customer satisfaction, planning and execution of all projects including financial management of all rail projects.
Key Accountabilities
LMA (Leadership + Management = Accountability) - Being a good, humble leader that is obsessed with becoming a great leader. Management of the project teams through 'consistency over time' with regular cadences.
Client lead - front facing to all active project clients nationally.
Project based customer satisfaction - we are only as good as our last project.
T-Minus - Planning, scheduling and coordinating all aspects of rail projects from initiation through to completion.
Project Financial Management - Managing project budgets, cost forecasting, variations, invoicing and financial reporting.
Subcontractor Management
Technical Lead on all bids and tenders
What we're looking for
Minimum 5+ years' experience in project management within the rail industry, with substantial experience managing rail or heavy infrastructure projects, (ideally working with rail bound track machines, such as resurfacing (tampers, regulators, stabilisers), ballast cleaning, track laying and renewal machines, track construction etc).
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
Strong knowledge of rail construction methodologies,



standards and regulatory requirements
Demonstrated proficiency in project management software and tools, including scheduling and budgeting applications
Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities
Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements specific to rail construction
Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline with relevant industry experience.
High Experience with tender processes, contract management and commercial negotiation
