A leading worldwide manufacturer is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electricianto join their team at a state-of-the-art facility located in Smithfield. This is a full-time,
night shift
position running
Monday to Friday
Shift Patterns - 10pm - 6am

The Role
As an Maintenance Electrician, you'll play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated electrical systems and equipment within a fast-paced, high-technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
preventative and breakdown maintenance
on electrical and control systems across automated equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on conveyors, motors, sensors,



PLC-controlled systems, and other plant machinery.
Assist with the
installation, wiring, and commissioning
of new equipment and system upgrades.
Conduct
electrical safety testing and inspections
in accordance with relevant standards.
Maintain accurate
service and maintenance documentation
.
Work collaboratively with mechanical and automation teams to ensure
equipment reliability and uptime
.
Comply with all
electrical safety regulations and company quality standards
.
About You
Trade qualified
Electrical Fitter / Electrician
(Cert III or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience in a
manufacturing, automation, or industrial maintenance
environment.
Strong knowledge of
electrical systems, control panels, and fault-finding techniques
.
Commitment to
safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
