Grange Road Medical Services – Eastern Heights QLD
We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team at Grange Road Medical Services' practice in Eastern Heights, QLD and Hunter Street Medial practice in Brassall, QLD.
This is a casual position that will involve providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our patients and clinicians. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth running of our busy medical practice.
The successful candidate to work approximately 34+hrs per week, with option for the successful candidate to be offered a permanent role after the agreed probation period.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and friendly manner
Scheduling and managing patient appointments
Answering and directing incoming phone calls
Processing patient registrations and updating medical records
Collecting payments and issuing receipts
Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area
Providing general administrative support to the practice team
What we're looking for




Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of patients
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Proficient in using medical software and computer systems
A friendly, qualified and compassionate attitude
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
