This opportunity sits with a well-established Brisbane not-for-profit organisation that has built a highly regarded specialist employment and industrial relations practice.

The team continues to grow, creating an opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to step into a genuinely wide-ranging role combining legal advice, advocacy, workplace investigations, enterprise bargaining and strategic workforce advisory work.

Importantly, this isn't a role where you'll spend your career briefing barristers.

You’ll have the opportunity to run your own advocacy, appear in specialist tribunals and develop the type of practical experience that can be difficult to find elsewhere.

You’ll also work directly with longstanding organisational clients, becoming a trusted adviser and building relationships that extend well beyond individual matters.

The team itself is highly collaborative and refreshingly ego‑free. Lawyers work alongside experienced workplace specialists,



drawing on each other’s expertise to deliver practical commercial outcomes.

About you

We’re interested in lawyers with approximately 5+ years’ PAE who have experience in employment and industrial relations law.

Experience conducting workplace investigations, enterprise bargaining or advocacy will be well regarded, although we’re equally interested in lawyers keen to further develop these skills.

Most importantly, you’ll enjoy building trusted client relationships, taking ownership of your matters and working as part of a cooperative team.

What’s on offer?
Salary of approximately $160,000-$195,000 + super + bonus
