Accountant - Do you speak fluent Mandarin?

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mandarin-speaking Intermediate Accountant to join a well-established and supportive organisation based in the beautiful Southern Highlands. Please note: This is a full time office-based position located in Bowral. No remote or hybrid working arrangements are available.

The Prospect

Reporting into the senior finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting function across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role offering variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to further develop your technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records
Prepare month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with monthly management reporting and variance analysis
Support year-end processes and external audits
Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)




Contribute to funding reconciliations and resident billing
Identify and implement process improvements across finance functions

About You
Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills are essential
3–5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities across different entities
CPA or CA qualified (or currently working towards)
High attention to detail with robust organisational skills
Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to learn
Experience within healthcare (desirable, not essential)
