We are seeking a Casual Butcher to join our team with an immediate start for the right person.

Our ideal Casual Butcher, Butcher Assistants - Retail Store is supporting Butchers for preparing, cutting, and displaying meat products in a retail workplace, ensuring high-quality customer service and maintaining food safety standards.

We also welcome candidates with chef, knife-handling, experience to consider as a Butcher Associate. If you're motivated, physically fit, and willing to learn, we offer long-term training for the right person.

To be successful you will need to have the following skills and qualifications.

Ideally previously experienced in operating a Bandsaw Machine. However not essential.

Preparing cuts of meat, either for display or on request.

Keen to learn the followings:

Slicing and Tray Packing.

Crumbing, seasoning, marinating, smoking and curing meat.

Weighing and packaging products.

Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Knowledge of food hygiene and safety requirements.

Customer Service & Good Communications.





Understands the pre-operations safety & PPE such as Knife kit handling and sharpening.

Full Australian Working Rights(Working Holiday Visas and Requiring Employer Sponsorship Applications will not be considered at this time).

Qualifications(Please indicate your relevant qualifications in your resume)

Certificate III in Meat Processing (ideal but not essential.)
