About the Role

As a Yard Operator you will ensure our rental equipment is properly maintained, organised and ready for customer use. You will work primarily in our branch yard and workshop facilities, playing a key part in keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect and prepare rental equipment for customer pickup and return
Clean and stage equipment to maintain professional presentation standards
Safely load and unload equipment using proper handling procedures
Organise yard areas to optimise workflow and equipment accessibility
Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment readiness




Support branch operations through effective equipment management
Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard environment

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in equipment rental, construction, transport, warehousing, or related industries preferred
Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (license preferred/required)
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
Capability to stand and move around the yard for extended periods
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced team environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
