Yarrabilba State School is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Youth Workers, with two exciting positions currently available.
As the Youth Worker your role will be to liaise between students, school personnel, and the home parents/guardians of any students who encounter educational, social, emotional or behaviour problems. By being able to build positive relationships and providing targeted support, you will help students engage effectively with school and achieve improved wellbeing and learning outcomes.

Yarrabilba State School is a up-to-date Prep to Year 6 school located in the rapidly growing master-planned community of Yarrabilba, between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. About the Role:
As the Youth Worker you will liaise between students, school personnel,



and the home parents/guardians of any students who encounter educational, social, emotional or behaviour problems.
The Youth Worker reports to the Principal or delegated officer.
Two Temporary Full Time positions available, until 11 December **** unless otherwise determined.
Responsibilities:
Support student wellbeing, engagement, and attendance.
Build positive partnerships with students, families, staff, and external agencies.
Identify and support students at risk of disengagement.
Implement intervention strategies, including home visits and wellbeing programs.
Maintain accurate records and provide advice to school leadership.
Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
