Lead a High-Performing Service Team Across New South Wales
Atherton is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our team of mobile Service Technicians across New South Wales. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a customer-focused professional who thrives on building high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering outstanding service outcomes.
Based in NSW, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day performance, development, and safety of a geographically dispersed field service team while ensuring exceptional service delivery to our customers.
About the Role.
As Service Manager, you will provide strong leadership and support to a team of mobile Service Technicians operating throughout NSW. You will work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure service activities are planned, executed, and completed efficiently and safely.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, coaching and developing a team of mobile Service Technicians.
Managing technician performance, productivity and service quality.
Support the coordination of service schedules, resources and workload across NSW.
Monitoring service performance metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training of service team members.
Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and company policies.
Building strong customer relationships and resolving escalated service issues.
Managing service budgets, labour utilisation and operational costs.
Collaborating with Operations, Sales and Customer Support teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Promoting a positive,



accountable and customer-focused team culture.
About You.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Proven experience leading service, maintenance or field-based technical teams.
Strong people leadership and performance management skills.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
The ability to motivate and engage a geographically dispersed workforce.
Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Experience working within technical, industrial, healthcare equipment, engineering, manufacturing or field service environments will be highly regarded.
Sound computer and reporting skills.
A current driver's licence.
