Johnstone Concrete & Quarries is seeking a reliable and motivated Batcher/Yardman to join our team at our Moree Concrete Yard. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of plant operation, driving, and yard duties in a fast‐paced environment.

About the Role
As a Batcher/Yardman, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of our concrete plant and yard. You will be responsible for batching concrete, operating equipment, assisting with deliveries, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate batching plant systems in line with production schedules and quality requirements
Conduct daily pre‐start inspections on plant and vehicles
Load and unload trucks safely in accordance with site procedures
Manage raw materials and stockpiles to maintain product quality
Perform general yard duties including housekeeping and basic maintenance
Assist with trade and site support tasks as required
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work workplace
About You
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Reliable, hardworking and self‐motivated
Ability to work flexible hours, including early starts and weekends
Good teamwork and communication skills
Mechanically minded with a willingness to learn
Relevant licences/tickets (HR licence highly regarded)
Experience in concrete, quarry or plant operations is advantageous but not essential
