POSITION OBJECTIVES
This role is responsible for ensuring that the operational systems and processes supporting CSA effectively enable the achievement of its revenue and strategic objectives.
This includes collaborating with all departments to review and recommend improvements to systems and processes, and planning and coordinating changes in line with CSA's commitment to operational excellence.
This will involve working across teams as well as liaising with Campbell Scientific globally.

Participate in development and continual improvement of operational process maps ensuring clear division of duties between departments.
Communicate / follow-up quality issues with CSI and other vendors.
Review the CSI release document for products in decline (retiring products) and products to be released.
Coordinate plan for obsolescence and the prioritisation of new releases.
Product catalogue / website to reflect changes.
Chair Quality Meeting
Co-ordinate the reporting of issues where the customer has been impacted or where processes have not been followed.
Prepare and monitor Action Plan for others to follow.
Monitor and report on the current status and any issues arising in relation to new products.
Coordinate the review of products for repair and determine to troubleshoot or send back to CSI with a communication plan created for the customer.
Collate and review repair items and update status, repair timeframe and tracking timeframes.
Coordinate and document the process review as to how CSA can implement new and more productive ways to do things.
Meet with Department Managers where necessary to review their SOP's,
formats and revisions.
All Meetings
Meeting minutes for all meetings are taken and made available
Review completed actions as per review agreed timeframes
A report on statistics for the number of quality issues open and closed weekly is generated and made available
Service & Repairs Metric Meeting
Ensure minimal repair turnaround time
Report and record repair metrics throughout the year
SOP Monthly Meeting
Document revision plan timeframes achieved
Product Compliance
Collect and/or source product compliance documentation.
Liaise with CS corporate – regularly for updates / information on compliance related issues.
Receive launch date and plan the implementation of priority issues and risks, ideally six months in advance of product launch.
Ensure that all new products released in Australia and imported products have complete compliance documentation.
Systematically work through CSA products and ensure that all of these have full sets of compliance documentation.
Ensure compliance related matters are escalated as necessary for resolution.
Support the sales and support team to navigate compliance related issues as necessary.
New product compliance Technical Construction Files and Declarations of Conformity are available before product launch
Compliance spreadsheet is updated regularly to reflect the state of current products
ISO **** CSA Certification Lead
ISO **** Certification role involves:
Understanding the standards and liaising with the consultant around design elements
Shared leadership accountability for the achievement of ISO **** certification
Responsibility for ensuring that CSA products and systems meet the ISO **** scope
Lead ISO **** in maintaining, defining and documenting the processes across the business
Ensure all systems are in line with ISO **** Scope
Co-ordinate internal audits with external consultant or otherwise.
Co-ordinate with different teams to ensure processes and documentation is being maintained in line with ISO ****
Review and help improve internal processes to efficiently satisfy requirements
Assist third party auditors with information and access to team members and documentation as required during an audit
Work with the team to ensure documents managed on the Document Management System are reviewed and maintained as required
Report ISO outcomes to ISO meetings.
ISO **** certification is maintained
Internal processes comply with ISO **** where required
Business critical documents are reviewed and updated as required.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Operational Excellence is a key responsibility for everyone at CSA.
In respect of operational excellence, your performance will be evaluated on the following:
Following of established processes, procedures and policies at CSA.
Your input and motivation to improve CSA's current processes/procedures – be able to demonstrate where you have tried throughout the year to put forward and improve the way we do business by either updating existing processes/procedures or being involved in developing new processes/procedures.
You are playing a positive role with the rest of the CSA team to obtain and then maintain ISO**** certification.
It is expected in your role that you will play a positive role in accepting and consistently implementing the principles of ISO****.
This will include participation and attendance at CSA quarterly ISO**** review meetings and addressing quality and risk assessment as part of regular team meetings
