Austral Insulation Gold Coast is seeking a reliable and hardworking Insulation Installer to join our growing team. We are open to applicants seeking an employed position or experienced installers operating as independent contractors.
About the role
You will install insulation in residential and/or commercial properties while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety. Work may involve ceilings, walls and underfloor areas across recent builds and renovations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Installing ceiling, wall and underfloor insulation
Following installation plans, manufacturer guidelines and workplace safety procedures
Identifying and reporting hazards or site concerns
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Communicating professionally with customers, builders and other trades
Completing jobs efficiently and to a high standard
About you
We are looking for someone who:
Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
Is physically fit and comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
Can work independently and as part of a team
Has robust attention to detail
Understands the importance of workplace health and safety
Holds a current driver’s licence and has reliable transport
Holds a White Card
Has previous insulation, construction or trade experience - preferred but not essential, as training may be provided to the right person
For contractors
Experienced subcontractors should have:
A current ABN
Relevant licences, registrations and insurances
Their own suitable vehicle, tools and safety equipment
Proven insulation installation experience
The ability to manage their own invoicing and contractual obligations
