Fetch Recruitment are seeking a civil minded HSE Coordinator to join our client's team in the Gold Coast and South Brisbane suburbs.
My client specialises in urban development and has extensive capabilities to self-perform a wide range of civil construction activities including large scale bulk earthworks, contaminated earthworks, acid sulfate soils, land remediation, council roadworks, state authority roadworks, bridge construction and hydraulics.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile urban team while ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and implement HSEpolicies and procedures across multiple sites.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Provide guidance and training to staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
Investigate and report incidents,



ensuring lessons learned are integrated into future practices.
Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with company and legislative requirements.
Qualifications, Experience and Must Haves
Proven experience in a similar HSErole, preferably in civil urban development space.
Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, Environment, or a related field.
(Certificate 4 in OHS minimum)
Comprehensive knowledge of Australian HSEstandards and legislation.
Clean driver's license.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs, alcohol and fitness test.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams.
