About the Opportunity
Bolton Clarke is seeking experienced Employee Relations Business Partners to join its national ER Services team and support leaders across a diverse workforce.
The primary vacancy is VIC-based at our Support Office – Forest Hill, with an additional opportunity based in Brisbane.
These are hands-on, high-impact roles where you'll provide practical ER and IR advice, triage leader queries, and manage a broad range of end-to-end case work across our aged care services.
Joining a large, purpose-driven not-for-profit with a national footprint, you'll be part of a collaborative ER Services team that supports leaders with case management, compliance, risk mitigation and practical resolution of workplace matters.
The team includes senior ER specialists and access to in-house legal support for complex or high-risk matters.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for leaders on a broad range of employee and industrial relations matters, triaging and managing cases end-to-end




Independently manage and prioritise a high volume of ER case work, including misconduct, performance management, grievances, investigations, disciplinary processes, absenteeism, non-work-related injury matters and general ER advice
Identify and escalating complex or high-risk matters, including formal investigations, SIRS-related matters, terminations and tribunal matters, partnering with senior ER leaders and in-house legal counsel where required
Provide clear, practical advice to leaders on the application of policies, procedures, Awards, EAs and workplace legislation
Ensure all ER matters are managed consistently, compliantly and with a strong focus on risk mitigation
Maintain high-quality case documentation, ensure effective handover where matters are escalated, and contribute to reporting on ER/IR case trends and outcomes
Attend site-based meetings as required, with flexibility to support leaders across allocated services and broader national priorities
We would love to hear from you if you have:
Qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience in employee relations, industrial relations, HR advisory or case management roles
Proven ability to manage high-volume, end-to-end ER case work independently,



with strong prioritisation and follow-through
Strong working knowledge of employment legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, ER/IR policies and workplace procedures
Confidence advising leaders on complex people matters in a risk-focused environment
Sound judgment in triaging matters and knowing when to elevate complex or high-risk cases
Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience in aged care, health, community services or another complex, multi-site environment will be highly regarded
