About the Role

Public Sector People are seeking a Procurement Officer to support the delivery of an efficient and compliant end-to-end procurement service across a Sydney Council's business units. You'll play a key role in administering procurement processes in line with legislative, policy, and governance frameworks, while contributing to the successful execution of the annual procurement program.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple tenders at varying stages, and a readiness to hit the ground running.





Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement and tendering processes.
Ensure compliance with local government regulations and policies.
Support the delivery of Council's procurement plan.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet service and project requirements.

Essential Criteria
Demonstrated experience in managing tendering/quotation processes in a high-volume setting.
Robust organisational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable
Previous experience in local or state government.
Sound understanding of NSW State and Local Government contracts, regulations, and procurement frameworks.
