As one of the leading and renowned organizations, my client is looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join their team due to remarkable growth. This is a permanent full time role and with one day work from home once up to speed.

About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:
Ensure efficient input and management of the Creditors Docusmart system
Processing and payment of supplier invoices, including reconciling to Supplier's statement in a timely and skilled manner
Ensure supplier invoices are processed and paid in compliance to company policies.
Follow up on supplier queries
Maintain an audit trail of changes to the supplier file and ensure exceptions reports are
produced for these changes for review by authorized Managers
Prepare reports to assist the Accounting Team for review and analysis of overhead spend to budget and forecasts as required
Assist the Finance Manager with account reconciliations(on a monthly and quarterly basis for select reconciliations as specified by the Finance Manager)
Provide assistance where required for deal costing
Maintain an efficient filing and data recovery system




Identify opportunities for improved accounting processes
Ensure all till floats and petty cash tins are reconciled and counted monthly - any discrepancies are to be reported to management
Ad-hoc administration tasks as required

Ideal Profile
Diploma / Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent work experience
1 year or more related accounts payable experience
Experience in automotive industry is a MUST HAVE
Intermediate Excel knowledge
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written skills
Experience with large ERP systems which are in line within the automotive industry - Pentana, Titan, Revolution
Permanent full time prospect
$75,000 - $80,000 + Super (can go slightly higher based on experience)
One day work from home once up to speed
Onsite parking provided
