Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled
Mainframe Engineer
with robust expertise in Endevor administration and software configuration management.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Endevor groups, setting up process groups, creating deployment pipelines, and integrating Endevor with ServiceNow.
The role also involves maintaining the data dictionary and ensuring efficient mainframe application deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain
Endevor groups
and associated environments.
Configure and manage
process groups
to support development and release workflows.
Design, create, and maintain
mainframe deployment pipelines
.
Integrate
Endevor with ServiceNow
for change management and deployment tracking.
Manage and maintain the
data dictionary
to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Oversee
software configuration management (SCM)
processes for mainframe applications.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies,



standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with development, operations, and support teams to enable smooth releases.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with
Endevor administration
and configuration, including DevOps.
Hands on experience in
mainframe development and operations
.
Proficiency in
SCM tools
and processes for mainframe environments.
Familiarity with
ServiceNow integration
.
Knowledge of
COBOL, JCL, and other mainframe languages/tools
is preferred.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in
large scale mainframe modernization or automation initiatives
.
Knowledge of
ITIL processes
and best practices.
Exposure to
pipeline automation
in mainframe environments.
