Berkeley Vale Public School P&C; Association OOSH is a community-based, not-for-profit Before and After School Care service located on the beautiful grounds of Berkeley Vale Public School.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director (2IC) & Educational Leader to join our leadership team in a Permanent Part time position.

Working alongside the Director/Nominated Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day operation of the service, mentor and lead a team of educators, drive educational programming in line with My Time, Our Place v2.0, and promote a positive, child-safe culture.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Director with the daily operation of the service.
Act as Responsible Person when required.
Lead, mentor and support a team of educators.
Lead educational programming and reflective practice.
Support compliance with the National Quality Framework.
Build positive relationships with children, families, educators and the school community.

Essential Requirements




Approved qualification (or working towards).
Current NSW Working With Children Check.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
Demonstrated leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of My Time, Our Place v2.0 and the National Quality Framework.
Gecko Child Safe Foundations Training (or willingness to complete before commencement).
