Leap Support Services is growing, and we're looking for compassionate and reliable people to join our team as Disability Support Workers across the North-West Coast.
In this rewarding role, you will provide person-centered support to individuals living with a range of disabilities, helping them build independence, connect with their community, and enhance their overall quality of life.

We provide ongoing training and support, giving you the skills and confidence to succeed in the role.
We currently have immediate start opportunities available, with casual and part-time positions offered depending on your availability and suitability.
About the Role
To be considered for this role, you must have the ability to work between Wynyard and Latrobe.
Shifts are available across days, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, and active nights.
We are currently seeking support workers for a mix of roles including:
Complex & Behaviour Support




Supporting participants with higher or more complex needs, including those who may display behaviours of concern, using consistent and trauma-informed approaches.
Shift Work (Supported Accommodation)
We also offer general shift work in supported accommodation settings.
These shifts may involve assisting participants with daily routines, personal care, household tasks, and overnight support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centered support tailored to each participant's goals and needs
Assist with daily living activities including personal care, manual handling, and medication support
Support participants to access the community and build independence
Respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations
Build positive, trusting relationships with participants
Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
Essential Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Vulnerable People Check
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Ability to work from Wynyard to Latrobe
Desirable
Medication endorsement
Experience supporting participants with complex needs or behaviour support
Certificate III in Disability / Individual Support (or similar)
