Applications are invited for the position of Plant Operator with the Shire of Coorow.
The position is based in Coorow where staff work a nine-day, 90-hour fortnight (including 14 hours overtime).
Additional seasonal overtime is also available.
The successful applicant's wage level will depend on experience.
In addition, the Shire offers generous Superannuation perks and a Housing Allowance for employees who provide their own accommodation.
Alternatively, there may be accommodation available to rent from the Shire at a subsidised rent should housing be required.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a wide range of duties including tip maintenance, culvert repairs & road maintenance and have a capable knowledge of all plant and equipment operation and maintenance.
Applicants must hold and maintain a current WA driver's license with an HR class.
A pre-placement medical and police clearance will be required by the successful applicant before commencement and a three-month probationary period will apply.
