About the role
This position encompasses clinical, educational and research responsibilities.
The incumbent will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a busy teaching hospital environment (including Victorian Heart Hospital, Monash Clayton, Dandenong Hospital and Monash Casey (Berwick)), to provide safe and effectiveperson centredcare, provide teaching and supervision of resident medical staff and students and undertake training towards attaining Fellowship of the relevant college (if applicable).
About You :
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the followingdemonstratedskills,experienceand knowledge:
Clinical skills and experience, ideallyat the level of a medical registrar,
Demonstratedability to work efficiently, in a busy clinical environment, caring for unwell/unstable patients
Strong communicationskills, with a focus onclear,timelyand respectful communication
An ability to provide clinical leadership and coordinate patient care, whilst also supervising junior medical staff
Demonstrate self-management; includinganorganised approach to work and education/training
Demonstrate commitment towards key organisational initiatives, includingVHHclinical trial research activities
Mandatory requirements of the role:
Primary medical degree (MBBS) or equivalent
All candidates will require Australian working rights
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
