Client Service officer - Recreation Centre
Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently looking for a Client Service Officer to commence in a role at the Townsville Sports Precinct, a large sports and recreational precinct. The venue hosts a range of sport, recreation and fitness events and activities for a wide range of users.
The role forms part of a well-established Venue Services team, working together to provide a high quality experience for sports clubs and teams , community organisations, school groups, and individuals. The role contributes largely to the overall customer experience for visitors and requires a friendly and organised individual.
In this role you will:
Deliver exceptional customer service to a wide variety of clients.
Greet and induct allhirerson arrival to the venue.
Ensure all visitors experience a high level of service by contributing towards maintaining spaces to a high standard and are protected for use.
Assist with general operational duties and emergent cleaning where required.
Manage facility and sports equipment set up and pack down tasks, often meeting tight deadlines.
Confidently utilise software associated with venue bookings, member management, and Microsoft products.




Confidently manage sales and purchases, whilst tracking and reporting accurately on financial information.
Provide suitable emergency management response (if required) in accordance with the Venue's policies and procedures.
What we are looking for:
Previous experience in a similar role (customer service, sport, recreation, tourism, or hospitality industries)
Flexibility to carry out shifts varying from Day, Afternoon and Night Shifts (including weekend work).
Current first aid and CPR certificate –
