THE ROLE
This traineeship position provides a broad range of support functions to the Housing teams that assist public housing renters across metropolitan Melbourne.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience and develop new skills and capabilities within a supportive and dynamic team environment.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
Undertake and complete a mandatory course of study - Short Course in Public Sector Service Delivery - through a registered training provider over the course of employment.
Perform routine housing functions, including providing advice, from a range of established policy, procedures and standards.
Assist in making appropriate referrals to internal or external support service providers in order to assist clients with their housing needs.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
Preferred candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening, including a national police check and misconduct screening.
