About the role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant or emerging Assistant Manager to join our growing Mareeba office. This is an opportunity to step into a client-facing role with real autonomy, working closely with business clients across a broad range of industries.
You'll manage your own portfolio, provide advisory support, and play a key role in mentoring junior staff, with a clear pathway into management.
What you'll be doing
Managing a portfolio of business services clients
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns
Providing tax planning and business advisory services
Building strong client relationships
Assisting with workflow management and mentoring junior team members
Be the Face of the company and help grow the client base within the community
About you
4+ years' experience in public practice (business services/tax)
CA, IPA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
Ability to work autonomously and manage deadlines
Experience reviewing work and mentoring staff (preferred)
