Role Description This is a full time, on-site Electrician role based in Griffith, NSW.
The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including powerlines, transformers, switchgear, and associated equipment.
Day-to-day tasks include performing routine and scheduled maintenance, conducting inspections and testing of high voltage systems, and diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults.
The role involves working on cable installations, jointing and terminations, and supporting substation maintenance and upgrades.




The Electrician will also follow safety procedures, complete documentation, and collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure reliable and compliant electrical operations.
Qualifications Strong understanding of electricity principles and safe work practices around high and low voltage systems.Practical experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and commissioning of equipment.Skills in maintenance & repair of electrical infrastructure, with a focus on reliability and safety.Ability to perform troubleshooting on electrical faults and system performance issues.Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering concepts relevant to power distribution and high voltage networks.Relevant electrical trade qualification, licence, and certifications required for work in NSW.Experience in powerline construction, substation environments, or high voltage installations is highly beneficial.Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.Commitment to safety, including adherence to regulations, site procedures, and use of PPE.Strong teamwork, communication skills, and capacity to work in regional and outdoor environments.
