Our mission is to enhance quality of life through skilled Labrador and Golden Retriever trained assistance dogs.
Position Summary
We are currently seeking aCasual Kennel Attendantto join our team for casual week shifts and on weekends.
In this hands‐on role, you will work under the direction of the Kennel Manager, helping ensure a high standard of animal care, safety, and cleanliness for the pups from birth through to dogs in training.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Kennel Manager and Kennel Team with kennel operations
Feed, clean, toilet,



and exercise dogs as per schedule
Maintain a clean and hygienic kennel environment
Monitor dog wellbeing and report any health or behavioural concerns
Assist in basic grooming, enrichment, and socialisation activities
Follow established routines and procedures
Communicate effectively with the team and supervisor
Confidence working with dogs from pups to adults
Physical ability to handle cleaning and animal care duties
Reliability and a solid work ethic
Willingness to follow direction and work independently when needed
Be a team player and embrace the organisation as a whole
Flexibility in hours, including availability to work Saturdays and/or Sundays
Experience in a kennel or animal care environment
Knowledge of dog behaviour and basic care practices
