Physiotherapists Aged Care – Guildford NSW
We are seeking applications from AHPRA registered physiotherapists for afull-time Aged Care Physiotherapyposition at ourGuildfordNSW site.
As a key member of a large physiotherapy team, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and provision of care and support for your consumers in their pain, falls prevention management, rehabilitation and physical mobility care needs.
The ideal candidate will display the following characteristics:
Is passionate about delivering high-quality restorative care and reablement services to aged-care consumers
Is respectful of consumer confidentiality, rights, cultural beliefs, and privacy
Can work individually and within a multi-disciplinary team setting
Can develop and evaluate consumer care plans, and formulate functional health assessments for new residents
Can demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as concise, professional documentation
Able to run entertaining yet challenging group exercise classes
Can provide pain management treatments
Can complete falls reviews, mobility reviews, initial assessments and general physiotherapy reviews to a high degree
Can deliver manual handling training and complete competencies with staff members
AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist with the tertiary qualifications required
Understanding of working with elderly residents in a residential care setting
Additional information

Annual CPD financial support provided
Permanent full time role, Mon-Fri, 38 hours per week
