The Role
BGIS is seeking a skilled Fire Panel Technician to join our Self Perform team servicing Sydney, delivering high-quality fire system maintenance, repairs, and minor works across commercial client facilities.
In this role, you'll provide end-to-end fire system maintenance support as part of a collaborative building services team.
You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across fire alarm panels, fire detection systems, and fire safety equipment, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to BGIS quality standards and relevant Australian Standards.

What You'll Be Doing
Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across fire alarm panels, fire detection systems, and fire safety equipment
Service and maintain fire systems in accordance with AS**** standards
Conduct fault finding across fire alarm systems, networks, and associated control systems
Install and replace fire alarm panels, systems, and associated components
Conduct inspections and servicing of portable fire equipment when required
Assist with preparation of quotations and identification of remedial works
Liaise directly with clients regarding service delivery and maintenance works
Complete work orders within required timeframes using BGIS systems
Ensure all works comply with WHS, compliance, environmental, and quality standards
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement and safe work practices across service delivery
Your Education, Experience & Skills
Strong experience working with fire alarm and fire panel systems
Demonstrated knowledge of AS**** and AS**** standards
Experience with installation, repair, testing, and servicing of fire systems and portable fire equipment
Strong fault-finding and technical diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
FPAS accreditation (desirable)
Electrical licence (desirable)
Current Driver's Licence
Full working rights in Australia (essential)
