A well-established residential aged care home in North Sydney is seeking an experienced and clinically capable Care Manager to join the team.

About the RoleAs the clinical leader of the service, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality resident care while supporting the Facility Manager and leading the nursing team.
This role combines clinical leadership, governance, team development and quality improvement within a reliable, resident-focused environment.
You will work within a clear leadership structure: Facility Manager → Care Manager → Registered Nurses → Care Staff
Key Responsibilities
Lead the clinical team to deliver exceptional resident outcomes
Support and mentor Registered Nurses and care staff
Drive compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
Oversee care planning, clinical documentation and resident assessments
Monitor clinical indicators and implement continuous improvements
Conduct clinical audits and support accreditation readiness
Build robust relationships with residents,



families and multidisciplinary teams
Partner with the Facility Manager to achieve outstanding clinical and operational outcomes

About YouYou are a supportive, organised and accountable leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and developing high-performing clinical teams.
You will also bring:
Previous experience as a Care Manager, Clinical Manager or equivalent leadership role within residential aged care
Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
Experience leading clinical teams within Australian residential aged care
Confidence managing clinical governance, audits and compliance
Strong understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
