Indigeco is recruiting a Workplace Relations Specialist for our client, a major NSW utilities organisation. This is a 3-month contract with an ASAP start, based in Parramatta with hybrid working arrangements.
The role will support a critical period of enterprise agreement implementation, complex employee relations matters and workplace relations advisory work across the organisation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage complex employee relations matters, disputes and workplace issues to reduce organisational risk, impact and cost
Interpret enterprise agreements, awards, employment contracts and industrial legislation to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
Provide expert workplace relations advice to leaders, People and Culture teams and key stakeholders
Support the implementation of enterprise agreement outcomes, including providing guidance on policy, process and practical application
Contribute to the improvement of employment relations policies, procedures and frameworks
Provide advice on employment law, employment contracts and workplace obligations




Support complex people change activities, including outsourcing, insourcing and broader organisational change impacts
YOUR REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years' experience in workplace relations, employee relations, industrial relations or employment law
Strong understanding of industrial legislation, enterprise agreements, employment contracts and workplace relations frameworks
Experience managing complex employee relations matters, disputes, investigations or workplace risk issues
Ability to provide clear, practical and commercially sound advice to leaders and stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret complex information and explain it clearly
Government or public sector experience will be highly regarded, but is not essential
Availability to start ASAP and work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with 3 days in the Parramatta office and 2 days working from home
YOUR PERKS
Daily payrate of $850 to $950 per day + super
3 month contract with ASAP start
Hybrid working, 3 days in office and 2 days from home
