About the Role
This is afull-time positionoffering the opportunity to work alongside experienced accountants in a collaborative and professional environment.
As a boutique accounting firm, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting and taxation services, giving you practical experience that will accelerate your professional development.
You'll be involved in real client work from the beginning and receive ongoing mentoring to help you build your technical knowledge and progress towards your CA qualification.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements
Preparing BAS and IAS
Assisting with the preparation of individual, company, trust, and partnership income tax returns
Assisting with financial reporting and account reconciliations
Working with Xero accounting software




Communicating with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
Providing administrative support to the accounting team
Supporting senior accountants with taxation and business advisory work
About You
Degree qualified or currently completing a Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
Passionate about building a long-term career in public practice
Intending to complete or currently working towards your CA qualification
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with Xero is advantageous but not essential
We value a positive attitude, initiative, and a willingness to learn as much as previous experience.
