We are recruiting qualified Motorcycle Mechanics for multiple established motorcycle dealerships located in Moorooka, Brisbane.
These are full time opportunities for experienced technicians who enjoy working in a professional dealership environment and take pride in delivering high-quality servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
The successful candidates will work with a broad range of motorcycles, including road, sports, touring and off-road models. Depending on the dealership and the candidate’s experience, there may also be opportunities to work with power equipment.
Key responsibilities
Carry out scheduled servicing and general mechanical repairs
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
Complete engine, transmission, brake, suspension and electrical repairs
Conduct pre-delivery inspections and safety checks
Accurately identify required parts and additional repair work
Complete workshop documentation and job cards
Maintain a clean, organised and secure work area
Communicate repair findings clearly to the Service Advisor or Workshop Manager
Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Follow dealership procedures and manufacturer specifications
Support apprentices and other workshop team members when required
Skills and experience
To be considered, you should have:
A relevant Australian-recognised motorcycle mechanical qualification
Previous experience servicing and repairing motorcycles
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience working in a motorcycle dealership or professional workshop
Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
The ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team
Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
Good communication and time-management skills
A current Australian driver’s licence
Australian working rights
Previous manufacturer-specific training or dealership experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
