What you'll actually be doingRunning your own portfolio of business clients - not just ticking their compliance box, but genuinely understanding their businessLeading tax planning meetings, management reviews, and year-end conversations as the main point of contactPreparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns, and making sure everything stacks up against current legislationSpotting the stuff that actually moves the needle - cash flow, structure,



profitability - and having the confidence to discuss it directly with the clientsMentoring junior team members and keeping the work quality high across the boardWorking inside a pod with a Partner, junior staff, and our offshore team, so you're never doing it aloneLiving in Xero (and picking up Karbon/XPM if you haven't already) and helping clients get more out of their systems Who we're afterCA or CPA qualified, or well on your way5+ years in public practice, ideally with SME clientsSomeone who can run a meeting and hold a genuine commercial conversation, not just present a reportStrong technically across financial and management accounting, tax, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and just as strong on the people sideComfortable mentoring and delegating, not just doingSomeone who gives a damn about the work and the people around them Why Thrive"We built Thrive to be the kind of firm we wished we had worked at.
