We are seeking a Manufacturing Team Member for our soon to be established afternoon shift, who wants stability, variety, and the chance to learn new skills in our safe and well-run manufacturing plant in Narangba.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Manufacturing Team Member is responsible for playing a pivotal role in the manufacturing process of roofing systems, by performing various tasks related to production, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
This is not a warehouse/forklift role – it's a hands‐on manufacturing position, perfect for someone who enjoys practical work, learning new skills, and being part of a team that gets the job done.

Training
Successful applicants will be provided full, on‐the‐job training as part of our day shift team (shifts between 5:30am and 5:00pm) before moving to a permanent afternoon shift (nominally 1.30pm to *****pm).
Duties
Hands‐on manufacturing of steel roofing products using a range of equipment and machinery




Operation of machinery and equipment, following standard operating procedures
Support the production team to meet rapid turn‐around customer orders
Collaborate with sales, logistics and customer service teams to ensure effective production coordination and seamless operations
Maintain high safety and quality standards every day
What we're looking for:
A positive "can‐do" team player attitude – willing to pitch in wherever needed
Strong work ethic with urgency and attention to detail
Physically fit and comfortable with standing, lifting, bending and moving throughout the day
Mechanical aptitude and confidence working with numbers
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
Must hold Australian permanent residency
Gantry crane experience (preferred)
Sheet metal / fabrication experience (desirable)
