Responsibilities:
As a Leading Hand, your responsibilities will include but not limited too:
Support the shift supervisor in ensuring workplace output, productivity level and compliance
Coordinate work in the team to ensure completion of work in a timely and accurate manner to meet dispatch requirements and fulfill on time delivery targets
Champion the company policies and procedures and ensure the team is adhering to all safety, quality and other national requirements
Support culture of teamwork and promote our CARES values
Provide training to operatives as and when required
Conduct audit of pick schedules as well as oversee and audit inventory and cycle counting procedures.
About You:
Ability to lead a group and drive performance results




Effective and professional interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable with a positive demeanour.
A team player with attention to detail and advocate for safe work practices
Forklift licence/certificate (MHE) including high-reach is essential
Customer service and continuous improvement mindset
Knowledge of food safety principles is an advantage.
Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed.
Availability to work on weekends and on public holidays as required
Ability to meet the role requirements and undertake pre-employment medical (including Drug and alcohol) testing
