The Opportunity
An established Microsoft-focused consulting business is seeking an experiencedSenior Functional Consultantto lead the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Power Platform projects across enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
Lead discovery workshops, business analysis activities, and fit-gap assessments.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and process design sessions.
Gather, document, and manage business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
Ensure alignment between business objectives and delivered solutions.
Solution Design
Lead functional solution design across Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform implementations.
Recommend best-practice, out-of-the-box functionality before considering customisation.
Produce Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and detailed solution specifications.




Collaborate with technical teams to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
Support solution governance and design approval processes.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the key functional contact for business stakeholders.
Run design reviews, solution demonstrations, and validation workshops.
Present recommendations, risks, assumptions, and business impacts to senior audiences.
Manage stakeholder expectations throughout project delivery.
Agile Delivery
Support backlog management, sprint planning, and prioritisation activities.
Work closely with Project Managers, Architects, and Development teams.
Monitor risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
Contribute to governance and steering committee activities where required.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
Support SIT and UAT activities.
Review test cases and validate business outcomes.
Assist with defect management and resolution.
Ensure solutions meet agreed business requirements and quality standards.
Deployment & Hypercare
Support release planning, go-live activities, and business readiness.
Coordinate end-user training and knowledge transfer.
Provide leadership during post-go-live support and hypercare phases.
Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned initiatives.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 8 years' experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 CE solutions.
Experience leading multiple end-to-end Dynamics 365 CE implementations.




Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management experience.
Proven ability to produce Functional Design Documents, User Stories, Process Maps, and Solution Specifications.
Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
Excellent communication, consulting, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated experience managing requirements across complex enterprise environments.
Preferred Experience
Experience within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Wealth Management, or other regulated industries.
Experience working on enterprise-scale transformation programs.
Understanding of customer onboarding, customer servicing, complaints management, case management, and sales processes.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform certifications.
Experience working with clients across Australia and the wider APAC region.
