We're looking for mechanically minded Trade Assistants to join an industrial machinery workshop in Geebung.
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you'll assist with the maintenance, repair and rebuild of heavy vehicles, hydraulic equipment and mechanical components in a busy workshop workplace.
This is an excellent chance for someone looking to build a long-term career in the heavy mechanical industry with ongoing training and overtime available.

Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 3:45pm

The Role
You'll be working alongside qualified tradespeople carrying out a range of mechanical workshop duties, including:
Assisting with strip downs, repairs and rebuilds of trucks, trailers and hydraulic equipment
Supporting fault finding, diagnostics and mechanical repairs
Assisting with hydraulic installations and component replacements
Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively
Preparing components for assembly and installation
General workshop duties while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
About You
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
Previous mechanical, hydraulic or heavy vehicle experience
Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Basic hand tools (advantageous but not essential)
Trade Assistants, mechanically minded candidates and 1st or 2nd year apprentices are encouraged to apply
