About the Role

We're looking for a Gas Service Technician to join our team supporting gas networks and facilities across the ACT and Nowra region.
In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain critical infrastructure that keeps homes, businesses, and communities connected to a safe and reliable gas supply.

Key Responsibilities Include
Perform planned and reactive maintenance across gas networks and facilities
Diagnose and rectify faults to ensure the safe and reliable operation of gas assets
Conduct risk assessments and work in accordance with safety procedures and industry standards
Identify and report network and asset defects, ensuring timely resolution
Support metering activities during peak periods as required
Participate in occasional interstate travel for training and operational requirements
Roster: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm, plus participation in an on-call roster (approximately 1 in 4 weeks).

About You
You're a safety-focused and customer-minded tradesperson who enjoys practical problem-solving and takes pride in delivering quality work.
You will bring:
Certificate III in Plumbing (or higher) and/or a recognised Plumbing trade qualification
Experience in plumbing, drainage, utilities, maintenance, civil construction, or underground infrastructure
Current Australian Driver's Licence
White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness training
Flexibility to participate in an after-hours on-call roster and occasional overtime
