At Brisbane North PHN, our vision is easy: a community where good health is available for everyone. We partner with clinicians, communities and providers to design and commission services that respond to real local needs and we’re looking for a strong, values-driven leader to help drive this work forward.
We are looking for a Lead – Community and Regional Initiatives to help us explore and lead initiatives that support the goals of our regional approach to wellbeing across mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and suicide prevention.
About the role:
This is a highly team-oriented role focused on engagement, community connection and turning ideas into action. You will lead the adoption of Brisbane North PHN's Our Approach to Wellbeing, supporting our Mental Health and Connected Communities team to embed a human-centred way of working into everyday practice.
You'll work closely with communities, people with lived and living experience, carers,
government, health and community providers and sector partners to develop solutions that respond to community need.
A key focus will be leading regional quality and improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to strengthen mental health, suicide prevention and wellbeing outcomes across the region.
You'll also bring a solid evaluation and data focus, working within our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning approach to ensure we have the right systems and processes to capture outcomes, measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
The role also contributes to regional planning, system reform and the commissioning cycle, including service design, procurement, KPI development, evaluation and performance monitoring.
