About the Role
As Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in the day to day running of the kitchen, helping deliverreliable, high quality pub foodwhile supporting a positive, calm service environment.
You'll work closely with the Head Chef across:
Service execution and prep systems
Training and mentoring junior chefs
Stock control, ordering, and kitchen procedures
Maintaining standards during busy trade without burnout




OurChefposition will also require confidence and commitment to quality and consistent dishes with the ability to work within in good tight team that offers support and acknowledge for a job well done.

Loves cooking — honest food, done well
HasSous Chef or Senior CDP experiencein a busy pub or kitchen
Leads calmly, communicates clearly, and supports their team
Is organised, reliable, and hands‐on during service
Takes pride in consistency, portion control, and presentation
Values teamwork, respect, and a good workplace culture.
Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a commercial kitchen
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
