Workfast is looking for Trade Assistants to join a Waste Management & Recycling Facility in Acacia Ridge, QLD.

We are actively seeking dedicated Mechanical Fitters to join our Waste Management & Recycling Team.
You will be part of a motivated crew working in a fast-paced workplace, ensuring that operations run smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Boilermakers & Fitters with Carry out maintenance, repairs, on fixed plant equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing of plant and machinery
Work on equipment such as conveyors, shredders, screens, pumps, gearboxes, and recycling plant machinery
Assist with plant upgrades, installations,



and shutdown work when required
Ensure all work is carried out in line with site safety procedures and compliance standards
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
What You Bring to the Team
Australian Driver's Licence and full working rights
Prior experience in a similar fixed plant, recycling, manufacturing, or heavy industry maintenance role
Full Australian working rights
Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol test
A can-do attitude with a willingness to engage in physically demanding tasks when necessary
Professionalism and a commitment to team collaboration and workplace safety
