As a Clinical Coder, you will play a vital role in accurately interpreting clinical documentation and patient demographic information relating to inpatient episodes of care.
Using the ICD-10-AM classification system, you will assign accurate classifications for diseases, injuries, and procedures, supporting high-quality health data and patient care.
Working as part of the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) Clinical Coding team, you will contribute to the delivery of accurate, timely, and efficient clinical coding services.
Applicants must have completed a recognised Clinical Coder Course.
Appointment above the AO3 level requires applicants to meet the NNSWLHD Clinical Coder competency requirements.
