What you'll do
Lead day-to-day kitchen operations
Manage, mentor and roster kitchen staff




Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and organisation
Ensure food safety compliance at all times
Oversee stock control, ordering and waste minimisation
Uphold and protect the quality of our core sandwich offering
Work directly with the owner on recipes, specs and standards
Train staff on consistent preparation and presentation
Identify and recommend incremental improvements to the product
What we're looking for
2+ years experience in a senior kitchen role
Background in café, deli or fresh food environments
A genuine craft mentality - pride in the basics done brilliantly
Proven ability to lead and develop a small kitchen team
Knowledge of food costs and kitchen admin
Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate
Reliable, punctual and detail-obsessed
Comfortable working closely with a hands-on owner
