Excavator Operator - Screw Piling & Detailed Excavation

Solid Metal Piling is one of NSW's fastest-growing screw piling contractors, servicing many of Australia's largest residential builders. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced excavator operator with robust final trim skills to join our team.

This is a role for someone who takes pride in precision. We're looking for an operator who can produce neat, accurate work with minimal supervision.

About the Role

You’ll operate late-model Hitachi excavators carrying out:
Installation of screw pile foundations
Detailed final trim excavation
Loading trucks and general earthworks
Daily maintenance and care of machinery

The majority of our work is for residential builders throughout the Sydney metropolitan area.

Essential Requirements
Demonstrated experience in final trim and detailed excavation




Excellent machine control and attention to detail
White Card
Current HR licence advantageous
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
Respect for machinery and equipment

Highly Regarded
Experience in screw piling or drilling
HR or MR truck licence
Dogman or Rigging tickets
Mechanical aptitude
