We're looking for apeople-focused Team Leaderto support a local team of participants and support workers in Brisbane.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role supporting the day-to-day coordination of a local team delivering disability support in the community.
You'll work closely with participants, families, and support workers to ensure services run smoothly, safely, and in line with participant goals.
The role combinespeople leadership, rostering, coordination, and problem solving, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
This role is well suited to someone with experience in disability services who enjoys coordinating teams and building strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Support and guide a team of participants and support workers within your local area
Coordinate day-to-day rostering and scheduling to ensure participant needs are met
Build positive relationships with participants and their families
Provide coaching, feedback, and day-to-day support to support workers
Ensure support plans and key documentation are current and understood by staff
Respond to incidents, changes, or challenges in a timely and professional manner
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new support workers
Maintain accurate records of participant interactions and team communications
Work closely with senior leaders on service improvements and team development
About You
You're someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, and helping teams succeed.
You may have experience as aSupport Worker, Team Leader, or in a coordination or rostering role, and you're ready to take the next step in your career.
