Trade Finance Business Development Associate

We're building our founding Sydney team.
The role
Win Australian buyers, generally assess their creditworthiness with our credit team, and structure trade-finance deals.
Starts as a contract/casual engagement with a clear path to permanent as you build your book.
You'll
Develop Australian importers, wholesalers and procurement agents who need payment terms or financing
Assit to review buyer financials and credit reports to gauge risk
Assist deals from enquiry through to repayment
Assist to build a diversified portfolio of buyers and repeat business
You have
A background in trade finance, banking, credit, insurance or B2B finance sales (1–3 years is plenty — drive matters more than title)
Commercial acumen: comfortable reading financials and sizing up credit risk
A hunter mindset, motivated by commission
Bilingual Mandarin/English a plus (not required); full Australian working rights
