We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support remote construction projects across WA on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth.
This is a role for someone who is practical, visible and confident working closely with site teams.
You will support safe project delivery through inductions, training, risk assessments, audits, inspections, safety meetings, reporting and transparent communication with employees, supervisors, project teams and client HSE representatives.

The role
Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will provide site-based HSE advice, support and guidance to help maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Advising and supporting employees and supervisors across all aspects of health and safety
Conducting site inductions, toolbox meetings, safety meetings and HSE training
Supporting risk assessments, inspections, audits and verification activities
Assisting the project team to ensure HSE requirements are planned, implemented and maintained throughout delivery
Supporting the implementation and ongoing improvement of McNally's HSE policies, procedures and programs
Assisting supervisors with hazard identification, incident prevention and safe work practices
Conducting regular reviews and audits of site HSE processes
Generating safety alerts, communications and reports
Liaising with client HSE representatives and relevant stakeholders on project requirements
Promoting McNally's safety culture, values and standards in all site interactions
About you
You are an experienced HSE Advisor who is comfortable working in remote FIFO environments and understands the pace, pressure and practical realities of construction projects.
You are proactive, approachable and confident communicating with people at all levels.
You know how to build trust on site while still holding the line on safety standards, compliance and expectations.
You will bring:
5+ years' experience in a similar HSE advisory role
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will be highly regarded
Experience on remote FIFO or DIDO projects, preferably within a contractor environment
Rio Tinto project experience will be highly regarded
Strong understanding of HSE systems, risk management, audits, inspections and incident prevention
Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver clear safety messages
A proactive, motivated and solutions-focused approach
Ability to work well under pressure and support site teams in a practical way
Strong reporting, documentation and stakeholder management skills
A genuine commitment to building and maintaining a safe work culture
